The short version: Pylon is a secure shell that displays your organization’s own field-operations web app. Pylon does not sell your data, show ads, or run third-party tracking. The work information you view and enter is handled by your organization’s system under their privacy practices — Pylon is the conduit to it.

Who runs this app

Pylon is published by Logan Technology LLC (“we,” “us”). Pylon is a white-label native shell: each organization points it at the web address of the field-operations platform Logan Technology has deployed for them. Your employer or organization operates that platform and is the controller of the work data inside it; their own privacy policy governs that data.

What Pylon stores on your device

• The web address you (or a setup link) enter, so the app remembers which deployment to open.
• Your sign-in session — the login cookie set by your organization’s site lives in the app’s own protected web storage on your device, the same way Safari would keep it.
• A notification token (if you allow notifications) so work alerts can reach you.

We do not copy any of this off your device for our own use.

Permissions Pylon may request

So your organization’s app can do its job in the field, Pylon may ask for:

• Notifications — to deliver task and job alerts.
• Camera & microphone — to photograph or record work for documentation.
• Photo library — to attach existing photos to a job.
• Location (while using the app) — to tag the GPS location of job photos and visits. Approximate and precise location are used only for this; the feature works without it.
• Biometric unlock (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) — to confirm sensitive actions (e.g. power-cycling a device).

Each is optional and only used when your organization’s app invokes it. You can decline or revoke any of them in your device settings and still use the rest of the app.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Apple’s Push Notification service (on iOS) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (on Android) delivers alerts to your device, and your device’s notification token is registered with your organization’s deployment so it can notify you about your work. We do not use the token for anything else.

Connecting to a deployment

Before loading an address, Pylon confirms it is a genuine, authorized deployment (by fetching a small public marker file from it) and checks it against a list of deployments we maintain. These requests send no personal information about you.

Third parties & tracking

Pylon contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share personal data.

Data deletion

Removing Pylon from your device erases the saved web address, your sign-in session, and the notification token. Deletion of the work data in your organization’s system is handled by your organization — contact your administrator, who can disable your account or remove your records.

Children

Pylon is a workforce tool intended for authorized employees and contractors. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
