About

Hi — I'm Ross.

I've spent my whole career making technology actually work for the people using it — first by leading the teams and customer relationships around it, and now by engineering it from the ground up. Logan Technology is where those two halves come together.

I cut my teeth in Miami running operations and customer relations for identity and biometric-security companies. As Director of Support & Customer Relations, I led the technical-support team behind biometric access-control systems and was the face of the company for major enterprise clients — Verizon, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bank of Canada — handling thousands of support requests a year across a global customer base. As Director of Operations, I ran the business itself: strategy alongside the CEO, procurement, policy, vendor relationships, and performance. Those years taught me the part a lot of engineers skip — what it actually takes to support technology, and the humans relying on it.

Then I went all in on the technical side. I joined a major university in 2022 — starting on the help desk and climbing fast: end-user support, then endpoint engineering, then systems engineering, and now privileged-access security. Along the way I built automation frameworks and a 600-function PowerShell library that run real security and infrastructure work — provisioning and patching server fleets, building Linux servers from a single script, hardening identity, automating incident response, and standing up virtual desktops — with over 100 measurable improvements and counting.

I didn't just learn to manage the systems; I learned to build the machinery that runs them. And the through-line from those Miami years held: the best automation isn't the cleverest — it's the kind that quietly takes work off people's plates and lets them get on with their day.

That's the throughline behind Logan Technology: I can sit down with you, understand what you're actually trying to do, and then go build it — whether that's hardening a business's infrastructure, designing a smart home that just works, or turning your idea into an app. Same person, start to finish. And when I'm not working, I'm usually automating something in my own house or building an app I don't strictly need.

What that means for you

Speaks human and machine

Years as the face of support for enterprise clients means I translate between business goals and technical reality — no jargon walls, no hand-waving.

Builds, not just advises

I don't stop at recommendations. I build the automation, the systems, and the apps myself — hands-on, start to finish.

Operations-minded

I've run the procurement, policy, and people side of a business — so what I build fits how you actually work, not the other way around.

How I work

Start with a conversation

No hard sell and no contract to sign first. We talk about what you're actually trying to do — often a free walk-through — and figure out together whether I can help. If I can't, I'll say so.

Plain language, always

I spent years as the face of support for big enterprise clients, so I translate between what you want and what the tech does. No jargon walls, no making you feel behind.

Build it, then make it disappear

The goal isn't a flashy dashboard you have to babysit — it's technology that quietly does the right thing in the background, so you can forget it's even there.

You own all of it

No lock-in, nothing held hostage. I document what I build and hand it over — your accounts, your devices, your code. If we ever part ways, you lose nothing.

Secure and private by default

Security isn't a bolt-on. I lock things down, keep your data yours, and never expose more than necessary — habits from years in identity and information security.

Sized to fit

From a one-hour consult to a full build-and-support engagement. We start where you are and do only as much as you actually need.
